Geometric Algorithms Development Engineer

Ventra IT is seeking a Software Developer to become a part of our team in Nizhniy Novgorod and join the project our client - a high-tech company specializing in the R&D of simulation modeling methods, technologies, tools, and platforms. The focus lies in developing CAE simulation software for structural, fluid, acoustic, electromagnetic, and other disciplines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize geometric modeling algorithms for CAE applications.
• Design, implement, and maintain geometric/topology algorithms to provide technical solutions for CAE geometric preprocessing workflows.
• Deliver robust technical support for geometry-related challenges in CAE software development.

Requirements:

• Full-time Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficient in geometric and topology algorithms (NURBS/B-Rep knowledge preferred).
• Hands-on experience with at least one geometric kernel: Parasolid, ACIS, or Open CASCADE.
• Strong logical thinking and passion for solving complex technical problems.
• Self-motivated with exceptional execution efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Innovative mindset with perseverance to tackle cutting-edge challenges.
• Team-oriented spirit with a commitment to collective success.
• Working proficiency in English or Chinese (English documentation comprehension mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in CAE pre/post-processing module development.
• Familiarity with industrial standards (e.g., STEP, IGES) and geometric validation workflows.
