The IT company Andersen invites a Application Security Engineer to join its team for working with a company from the USA.
The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s airlines. The network consists of major airlines that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of merchants around the world for air, rail, cruise and travel agency payments.
The project is a payment technology that will enhance the efficiency and profitability of merchant payment operations through a comprehensive, airline-centric payment platform.
Must-haves:
- Experience as an Application Security Engineer for 3-5 years.
- Proven experience in fintech, banking or global transaction platforms;
- Experience in designing and implementing security architectures within enterprise-grade fintech environments, particularly those involving card-based payments and regulatory-sensitive data;
- Hands-on experience with Zero Trust Architecture, identity and access control (RBAC, MFA), modern cryptographic standards (e.g., AES-256, TLS 1.3) and vulnerability management practices;
- Strong understanding of information security and data protection requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including compliance with local laws, corporate security policies, and industry standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR, SOC2 and ISO 27001;
- Ability to work in close collaboration with Solution, Infrastructure and Data Architects to define and embed security controls across the full system architecture from the design stage onward;
- Experience in defining and documenting infrastructure security requirements, including selecting and configuring security-specific hardware, software and cloud-native services (e.g., HSMs for key/hash management, encryption modules, firewall services, IAM policies); - Familiarity with securing hybrid and cloud-agnostic environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, and on-prem);
- Experience with vendor risk assessments, security audits and developing internal controls aligned with payment system standards;
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise with core payment functions, including credit card processing, Account Funding Payments (AFP), PSPs, tokenisation, risk management tools, smart routing and failover capabilities;
- Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and above.
