Drilling engineer

A Drilling Engineer is needed to develop optimized well designs by incorporating the most appropriate technologies and construction methods. The position involves drafting drilling operation plans and supporting their execution by providing engineering advice, as well as updating well designs and execution plans when necessary. The role includes coordinating, managing, and monitoring specialized studies for the design and construction of drilling and well completion activities, defining ideal technical solutions in line with business plans and market trends.10+ years of international oil and gas exploration experience.

Required experience and skills

• 10+ years of experience in oil and gas exploration and appraisal project in international O&G companies (O&G Majors/OFSE Grands)
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address complex drilling and completion issues
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in the oil and gas industry
• Proficiency in software and tools used for drilling and completion planning and design
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Geoscience, or a related field
• Fluency in English

Desired experience and skills

• Experience in HPHT gas well exploration and development projects
• Experience in working and management of multiple technical teams, including international drilling contractors and service providers
• Prior work experience in Central Asia, ideally in Uzbekistan
• Certificates and diplomas on exploration and development of oil and gas fields
• Knowledge of Russian/Uzbek languages
