3D Motion Designer (freelance)

AppQuantum is an international mobile free-to-play game publisher.

We help talented developers around the globe focus on making mobile games they love. We publish their games and increase their revenue, so they can produce worldwide hits.

This also means generating ideas for captivating mobile game creatives and bringing them to life. To make this happen, we collaborate with various production studios and other partners who specialise in this craft.

Currently, we’re helping one of our partners find a skilled Freelance 3D Motion Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce engaging 3D advertising creatives for mobile games based on technical briefs

• Animate characters, objects, and scenes using Blender, Cinema4D, or Unreal Engine

• Rig and animate characters through Mixamo

• Utilize rigid body simulations to craft dynamic, visually rich scenes

• Prepare and finalize videos in After Effects, including color correction, tracking, and working with passes and masks

• Meet deadlines and quality standards set for each creative project

• Collaborate closely with the team to make revisions and enhance project outcomes

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• Proven experience in producing game creatives, supported by a relevant portfolio

• Proficiency in one or more of the following software: Blender, Cinema4D, or Unreal Engine

• Foundational knowledge of After Effects, including tracking, working with 3D passes/masks, color correction, and basic sound design

• Skilled in character animation and rigging through Mixamo

• Experience managing complex rigid body simulations (involving thousands of objects)

• Familiarity with geometry nodes is an advantage

• Strong ability to follow briefs and consistently meet deadlines
