Junior Full Stack QA Engineer

The IT company Andersen invites a Junior Full Stack QA Engineer to work on a large-scale project for one of our Canadian partners.

The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company handles over $1 billion in transactions annually and has a team of 2,200+ travel experts.

The project is an actual web platform (travel services industry) for clients in the North American market.

Responsibilities:

• Testing APIs, performing regression and UI testing.
• Reporting and investigating bugs.
• Creating and documenting test cases to align with user stories.
• Providing assessments of test results to team members and collaborating with them on resolution.
• Developing, establishing, and executing quality assurance measures and testing standards for new and existing applications and products.
• Ensuring that testing activities enable applications to meet business requirements and system goals, satisfy end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
• Communicating test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project team members.
• Reviewing test results, reporting any exceptions, and preparing the required documentation for signoff and implementation into the production environment.
• Maintaining existing Quality Assurance scripts and documentation.
• Actively participating in team meetings and offering recommendations/ideas on initiatives.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a QA Engineer for 6+ months.
• Hands-on experience in API testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to create and execute test plans.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with cross functional teams and ability to work independently.
• Ability to test software from a technical and non-technical perspective.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
• Multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet set timelines with minimal supervision.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge in QA Automation (Java).
• Experience in Xray.
