The Team and the opportunity
In response to this, we are looking for high-performing, innovative and enthusiastic candidates to join our growing team of Technology Risk Assurance professionals who are building a better working world by helping global and local organizations to identify, understand and respond to the current and emerging IT risks as a part of financial statement audit.
Successful candidates will join the Financial Audit IT (FAIT) at EY. Our focus areas include IT internal controls testing as part of financial audits. There will be opportunities to work across the focus areas within the wider team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related IT field
- 1-2 years of relevant IT audit experience
- Understanding of audit principles, risk management, and IT controls
- Basic knowledge of corporate Risk Management programs and IT frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, VBA)
- Knowledge of database and operating system administration
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, 1C)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Have high ability to work individually and collaboratively with others
- Have high ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline
- Ability to work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries
- Knowledge of common IT standards such as COSO and COBIT
- Fluent English
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the audit of information systems during financial audit engagements by evaluating IT control environment and perform IT control testing, application testing as well as data analytics
- Conduct data analysis and prepare audit documentation
- Learn and apply IT audit methodologies and best practices
- Support the audit team in various tasks
- Gain exposure to different industries and clients
- Assist in supervising junior staff members
- Prepare high quality work products for clients and other related parties in timely manner
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
- Report design and operation testing
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
