About the position:

We are looking to hire a talented and hardworking Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and design mechanical components, units, systems and devices for our brand of consumer electronics. You will be responsible for designing base hardware systems, installing complex hardware goods, analyzing PCBA performance data, system troubleshooting, collaborating with engineers our company and suppliers, and modifying existing hardware platforms to enhance functionality in upgraded systems. To ensure success as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you should exhibit a meticulous and analytical approach to your work. Ultimately, a skilled Engineer will work methodically to identify, design hardware systems and their improvement. Search for suitable materials and suppliers for OBM/ OEM/ODM projects

Key functions:

• Search and selection of suitable plastic and metal materials as well as suppliers for OBM/ ODM/ OEM projects
• Revision and testing of parts of the device from mockup to production
• Optimization of device solutions and component stack in products
• Preparation of relevant documentation and drawings/ 3D models for the developed device
• Collaborating with software developers and QA Team to ensure the hardware functions for its intended purpose.

Qualification and skills:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in English
• Russian is an advantage
• Chinese is an advantage
• Good knowledge and understanding of the production of plastic parts and metal products, as well as metal processing technologies
• Knowledge of metal finishing technologies
• Experience in opening plastic molds and starting injection molding production
• Experience of working with/in factories in China or other countries is an advantage.
• Ability to see potential problems in a system
• Attention to details.
