Environmental and social expert

We are hiring a Freelance Environmental and Social Expert for a solar power plant construction project in the Tashkent Region, Uzbekistan.

Duration: 12 months

Engagement Type: Task-based, with periodic site visits

Scope:

The expert will review environmental and social documentation (ESIA, ESMS, RLRAP), conduct field inspections during construction and initial operation phases, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to compliance reports in line with international standards (IFC, World Bank) and Uzbek regulations.

Profile:

•At least 7 years of relevant E&S experience

•Strong knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and World Bank ESS

•Experience with compliance monitoring and stakeholder engagement

•Fluency in English; Russian or Uzbek is an asset
