We are looking for a proactive, structured, and technically-minded Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of client integration projects and custom feature development within our new product. The PM will work closely with clients, developers, QA, and domain experts to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of integrations with card schemes, alternative payment methods, and other third-party services.
This role is key to managing our growing pipeline of client demands while maintaining internal efficiency and delivery transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery & Coordination
- Manage day-to-day delivery of integration projects and feature enhancements.
- Lead sprint planning, task breakdown, backlog grooming, and status tracking.
- Coordinate between development, QA, and integration teams to ensure timely progress.
- Monitor and escalate risks, delays, or scope issues with clear mitigation plans.
Client Communication & Request Handling
- Act as the main operational point of contact for clients regarding ongoing development.
- Gather and document business requirements for new features and integrations in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Manage expectations around timelines, system dependencies, and delivery feasibility.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with the Head of Payments and Integrations to evaluate technical feasibility and coordinate integration design and implementation.
- Track system dependencies across teams and ensure clear communication of blockers or changes to all relevant stakeholders.
Process & Tools Ownership
- Maintain clarity and flow in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Facilitate regular ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and demos.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery workflows, ticket structure, and team coordination.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in fintech, payments, SaaS, or API-driven products.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile/Scrum/Kanban).
- Experience working with technical teams (developers, QA, integration engineers).
- Comfortable managing multiple client-facing projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to track technical dependencies and integration flows.
- Working knowledge of payment systems, APIs, or third-party integrations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Visa/Mastercard integration processes or APMs (e.g., Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay).
- Experience working with gateway products or acquiring systems.
- Ability to write or review clear user stories, use cases, and flow diagrams.
