Manager in Technology group Caucasus and Central Asia (Consulting)

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Manage consulting projects in the field of digitalization (Agile transformation, IT function (re)organization, IT architecture, IT audit, IT (digital) strategy, data strategy, business requirements definition, technology strategy& selection, IT product assessment, design, development, implementation and support, etc.), including:

· Initiation (contracting, team mobilization, development of project charter, conducting kick-off, etc.)

· Information request management (assembling requests, tracking status, organizing data, etc.)

· Project budget management (calculation, negotiation, approval, plan / fact, updates, etc.)

· Meetings management (on-line, off-line, incl. business trips)

· Project plan management (preparation, negotiation, approval, plan / fact, updates, etc.)

· Back-log management

· Project risk management, incl. assessment of project delivery (burndown) velocity against expected, assessment of required additional resources to complete project in time, etc.

· Reporting on the project status (organization, materials, conducting meetings, etc.)

· Coordination and alignment of the work streams within a project

· Development and agree-on deliverables templates

· Deliverables review

· Tracking status of each project deliverable, approval process organization

· Project change management

· Project closure (work acceptance, billing, cash collection, project folder organization, etc.)

General requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s / Specialist’s degree in technical sciences or Business / Economy with acescent on IT (or additional practice / courses)

· 3+ years of experience acting in a project manager or similar role (stream leader, product owner, team leader, service owner, etc.) within complex consulting, technology, IT, transformation, reorganization or similar projects in large companies (1 000+ employees and revenue MUSD 100+) as an employee or a member of external consulting or IT company, providing services to large companies

· Ability to organize project work from initiation to closure

· Strong presentation skills

· Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

· Ability and willingness to learn and change approach to work

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian

· Passion for quality

· Certification / course completion in (IT) project / product management is a plus.

Technical skills that would be quite useful:

· Understanding of key principles of managing IT and Digital projects and products

· Understanding of Agile and Waterfall management frameworks

· Understanding of key project management artifacts and technics (technical assignment, project plan, resource plan, project charter, backlog, deliverable list and approval matrix, …)

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Understanding of banking business (products, processes, core information systems, etc.
