The Purchasing and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for:
- Obtaining quotes for transportation of spare parts and equipment from different couriers and freight forwarders.
- Translation of shipping documents (custom invoices, packing list etc.) and submitting it to custom brokers.
- Assisting Logistics Coordinator to prepare all necessary paperwork (e.g. National Security Committee, Department of Ecology, Department of Health and Safety) and obtain required permits for custom clearance of aircraft spare parts and materials.
- Ensuring parts and materials are cleared from customs in a timely fashion meeting required deadlines.
- Follow up the status of parts and materials ordered liaising directly with supplier.
- Controlling couriers and freight forwarding companies to deliver custom documentation and delivery of shipments in time.
- Dealing with local suppliers providing materials for the store and engineering department;
- Preparation of weekly MDV status reports;
- Assist a store keeper / manager to supervise administration of the stores in accordance with EASA 145 regulations;
- Ensure stores and logistics company’s procedures are followed by store keepers in all stations – Almaty / Astana / Atyrau;
- Taking part in yearly stock take controls for all stations – Almaty / Astana / Atyrau;
- Replacing Store Manager and Logistics Coordinator (in Almaty only) when required;
- Accomplish other duties as reasonable directed concerning purchasing, custom clearance and delivery of the parts and materials.
Requirements:
- English Language level Upper Intermediate and higher
- High Education - degree (preferably in Logistics/Technic/Aviation)
- 5 years of experience in similar position
- MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
