Responsibilities:
- Receiving and recording cash payments.
- Processing payments via POS terminals and monitoring transaction accuracy.
- Handling and recording received cheques (deposits, tracking, reconciliation).
- Issuing invoices to customers and verifying primary documentation.
- Daily cash register reconciliation and preparation of cash reports.
- Liaising with counterparties and banks regarding payment processing.
- Monitoring cash flow, identifying, and resolving discrepancies.
- Adhering to cash discipline and company internal regulations.
- Advising clients and employees on payment and refund matters.
- Document accounting and archiving, including in electronic systems.
- Reconciling accounts with customers, identifying, and resolving discrepancies (including cheque received).
- Higher education (min. Bachelor's degree) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
- 1+ years of experience as an accountant or cashier (experience in the UAE is an advantage).
- Basic knowledge of UAE accounting and tax legislation.
- Proficiency in working with POS terminals and accounting software (1C, ERP, or others).
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Confident user of MS Office.
- Willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
- English proficiency at least at Intermediate level; Arabic is an advantage.
- Employment in accordance with UAE labor laws.
- Work schedule: 5/2 from 10:00 to 19:00 with 1 hour lunch break.
