Airfreight Specialist

Our Client an international company is looking for Airfreight Specialist, Almaty.

Job Duties:

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end process of international air cargo shipments;
• Track and coordinate cargo movement across all transportation stages to ensure timely delivery;
• Handle day-to-day inquiries and coordination with internal offices and global agents;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers and contractors;
• Expand and manage a reliable network of agents; collaborate with suppliers and head office;
• Monitor contractor billing and verify the accuracy and timely completion of shipping documentation;
• Process claims and conduct investigations in case of delays, damages, or other incidents.

Requirements:

• University degree (preferably in logistics, supply chain, or a related field);
• 2–3 years of experience in international freight forwarding, specifically in airfreight;
• Strong knowledge of the logistics market and airlines operating routes to/from Kazakhstan (any airport);
• Proficiency in English, particularly in written business communication;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
