The Astana International Financial Centre is seeking a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Governor of the AIFC. This is a dynamic and high-impact role that requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, executive environment.

Key responsibilities:

As Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for organizing and managing the operations of the Office of the Governor. This includes:

  • Managing the Governor’s calendar: scheduling and coordinating internal and external meetings, events, and travel.

  • Accompanying the Governor to meetings and business trips, handling logistics such as visas, travel arrangements, itineraries, and briefing materials.

  • Attending meetings, recording minutes, and ensuring follow-up on decisions and directives.

  • Acting as the main liaison between the Governor and internal/external stakeholders.

  • Drafting and preparing high-quality correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefings.

  • Monitoring and prioritizing incoming communications and ensuring timely responses.

  • Managing documentation, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and secure storage.

  • Organizing and supporting the execution of high-level meetings led by the Governor.

  • Ensuring compliance with AIFC regulations, policies, and protocols.

  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Governor and Line Manager.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, International Relations, Public Policy, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 3–5 years of experience in the financial industry or related sectors.

Skills & abilities:

  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • High level of discretion and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.

  • Confident in developing and implementing procedures under guidance.

  • Skilled in building professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Language fluency: Kazakh, Russian, and English.
