Coordinate community relations campaigns and stakeholder events.
Engage with relevant stakeholders in line with Community Engagement Plans and reinforce a positive representation of the Project to the Community.
Plan and oversee engagements to comply with international performance standards (such as EBRD, IFC and ADB).
Report and monitor engagement actions and prepare/revise action plans (such as SEP, RAP and CDP).
Continuously provide feedback to the Project Management on community concerns and priorities with the view to revising intervention strategies where necessary.
Schedule outreach meetings with local community members to discover their issues and concerns.
Manage grievances that may arise during the construction phase of projects, respond to and ensure actions are communicated to the grievance owner. Track and close out the grievance in timely manner.
Maintain records of engagement with locals and advise the project teams on community and individual aspirations.
Prepare and implement trainings about social management plans for project employees and communities.
Document personal interactions in the stakeholder engagement management system, and support documentation of other team member interactions.
To follow and check the employee contracts of all personnel working in EPC and subcontractors.
To follow and check overtime records of all personnel working in EPC and subcontractor.
To follow and check daily work hours records of all personnel working in EPC and subcontractor.
To follow and check compensation of overtime records of all personnel working in EPC and subcontractor.
To inform all contractors/subcontractors about the national legal and lender's requirements to have written contracts with workers, with specific emphasis on contracts with local workers being registered in the UNLS.
To follow welfare process on sites
Minimum Competency Requirements
2 years of project (site) based experience in a similar role.
Ability to communicate effectively in Uzbek and English (as a minimum) and desirably other languages applicable to the project.
Knowledge of Chinese language is preferred
Experience or demonstrable ability to undertake site-based social action plans in accordance with International Standards (IFC, EBRD and ADB).
Ability to undertake and interpret the outcomes of social monitoring programs.
Experience or demonstrable ability to manage and effectively undertake other social monitoring (such as grievance management, stakeholder engagement, worker accommodation quality etc.)
Experience or demonstrable ability to engage with project stakeholders (e.g. communities and others)
Experience or demonstrable ability to prepare and deliver social training programs and content for site-based staff.
